Chief Development Officer

Dan DeSaegher joined the TERI leadership team after 12 years serving in senior development roles with respected organizations such as Refuge for Women, Generate Hope, and Point Loma Nazarene University. In addition to fundraising, his responsibilities included strategic planning, community relations, and financial stewardship. Earlier in his career, Dan held similar leadership positions with San Diego-based Qualcomm.
 
As TERI’s Chief Development Officer, Dan is building a diverse and sustainable portfolio of fundraising and revenue resources. This portfolio is designed to secure the present and future of TERI’s innovative services and enrichment programs at the new TERI Campus of Life in San Marcos, CA. As a catalyst for funding and community engagement, he will be instrumental in supporting TERI’s mission and vision for families, and children and adults with special needs.

Dan and his wife Nicole are native San Diegans and count family as their highest joy, raising four children in the full local experience of sports, beaches, and community service.
