About the Morning Glory String Band

Blending old-time music, bluegrass, and blues, this group delivers a rich, roots-driven sound that spans generations and genres. Richard has spent his life immersed in music—teaching, performing, and leading worship in churches across the region. Carmine is a dedicated professional musician whose career began in high school and has included a recording contract with the band Search. He was also the lead guitarist for Down Yonder, one of San Diego’s premier country bands. Rounding out the group, Jon brings depth and rhythm…
